Useful Salvia Information:
When you buy salvia, buy only from venders with a well-known reputation for quality such as IAmShaman. Many venders claim that you can buy Salvia divinorum leaf that is superior to other venders, but there are only about 5 major suppliers of Salvia in the world, and one of them sells the now famous Hawaiian Salvia divinorum. Your decision to buy Salvia leaf should be based on price and a merchant's customer service record, but when you buy Salvia extracts and buy Salvia tinctures, it can be a little more tricky. Many claim to use harmless solvents such as water or ethanol (Everclear) in their Salvia divinurum extractions, but the customer has little way to know if this is really true. We ordered Salvia products from several merchants and had a friend from our local university test the leaf for impurities. Several online Salvia suppliers (who shall remain nameless), had traces of acetone and other chemicals in their extracts, but the Salvia from IAmShaman had only traces of pure grain alcohol or water. This is why we chose to partner with them and create this informational website.
There are more and more places to buy saliva and to buy salvia divinorum from, but only a few websites can provide high quality salvia. Be careful who you buy your salvia from; look around the web, look at popular salvia forums such as www.entheology.org, and then make an informed decision by talking with others who have bought salvia from the venders you are thinking on buying your salvia divinorum from. Look to websites that have been around for a long time; you know that they wouldn't be around for long if they didn't provide quality products; word spreads on the web very quickly.
